Orgasmic Birth - [07:28]

When I discovered Debra’s work, I knew I wanted to interview her as her message should be heard by all moms-to-be, parents and couples.

Debra has a different view of birth than the conventional approach. It’s not about pain and fear, it’s about an enjoyable and pleasurable birth. She introduced me to the notion of Orgasmic birth. Her book was extremely enlightening and mind blowing to me when I first read it. Everything is backed by science – the effects that drugs and instrumentation can have on the birth flow, the hormones released and even the connection and bond you’re creating with baby and your partner at this very moment.

The connection she makes between what’s happening during birth and orgasm is absolutely incredible. This is not something you will hear in a conventional approach, however as they explain in the book, you can still have this experience in a medical setting like a hospital. As Debra is sharing during the interview, it’s also about shifting our mindset and beliefs about giving birth. It is completely accessible to anyone.

This is definitely a new approach that should be presented to every mother-to-be and shift this notion that birth should be painful and a traumatic experience, too often associated with giving birth.

Debra shared also some tips to live the birth you want to have. She is introducing us to the notion of letting it go and how you can create this shift of your current beliefs on birth, past experiences or stories you heard.

Sex after Baby - [24:40]

In the last part of the interview, Debra and I talked about sex after baby. I know this is a question a lot of new moms have on the back of their head.

When can we have sex after the baby is born? Or maybe this is the last thing on your list because you’re already exhausted and busy with baby or maybe you’re struggling with body image. You’re not alone. All of this is completely normal to experience. What Debra explains in her book is that there is a better way, and she is willing to take you on a journey to help you reclaim your sexuality and find more fun and love in your parenting journey and relationship.

Debra is taking us through the acronym “PLEASURES” and explaining us why each letter matters. Basically, she is sharing with us her very own roadmap to reconnecting with your partner, be intimate again and have a great sex after giving birth.

If you want to know more about this, Debra has an online course to help you overcome these challenges and find pleasure in your relationship and parents life, she is currently taking applications on her waitlist. You can register on the waitlist by clicking on the following link: register now.

In the meantime, you can read her book  The Ultimate Guide to Sex after Baby, on the matter, that I enjoyed so much. It highlights all the points Debra talked about and will let you create your very own roadmap and reinforce your bond with your partner and have great sex after giving birth!
