3 tips to silence mom's guilt when sleep training your little one:

Eva is sharing with us 3 simple and helpful tips and comments to repeat ourselves to silence that mom’s guilt taking over:

  1. It’s not because you’re a mom that you don’t matter anymore. Your well-being matters.
  2. Your little one needs a happy well-rested mommy. Otherwise you’re caught in a vicious circle that won’t help you feeling good and engage in activities that will help you feeling better.
  3. Little ones NEED that deep night of sleep: otherwise it also plays a role on their well-being and health, which in turn will create even more stress on you as a parent and woman.

Eva is really unpacking it all here. One of my favorite part of the interview!

Signs you and baby are ready for sleep training:

Eva is explaining to us how to understand and know when baby and parents can be ready for sleep training:

  • Baby: around 4 months of age, baby can sleep independently with usually 1 wake up/feed in the night.  She asks herself the question: what do I want?
  • Mom: ask yourself “Is the status quo working for you?”. If not, well it is a sign you and baby need help to sleep better. If it works for you, well this routine might be the one you need now.

Listen for all the details.
