I’d you didn’t work on these moves before hand you can always work your way during your recovery program.  How many times do you pick up your little one from their crib in a day? I know I do it a lot!  And there’s no way I’d have to deal with pain or feeling weak while picking my sweet angel.  Plus it helps to know exactly how to do it to protect my C-section scar and feel any pain or like I’m pulling too much on this area!  Want to know more? Life lately ❤️: cuddles, kisses, love, love, a Life lately ❤️: cuddles, kisses, love, love, and more love, shorter nights, more meaningful life, so much joy and happiness ✨  We are being taken into a tornado of love since welcoming our little Paolina to this world on April 21st.  We wonder how life was looking before you came into ours little one 🐻

I have to say I discovered a new passion with knitting and am always looking to what to make her next 🤣 Might be a onesie or a romper - see in stories! Let’s talk about Gut Health and Estrogen Dominan Let’s talk about Gut Health and Estrogen Dominance 👋 Wait? Our gut has anything to do with our estrogen levels? 🤔  Yes! A lot, actually!  When we have a healthy gut and microbiome, the whole system is designed to keep your estrogen levels in check:  👉 After its production, the estrogen is performing the so many tasks it has been assigned to  👉 Once done, it goes to the liver to be deactivated  👉 One part will be excreted in the urine  👉 Most of it will be blended in the bile to be excreted via the intestines  👉 There’s a collection of gut bacteria called the estrobolome responsible for some of the estrogen metabolism. It makes an enzyme called the beta glucoronidase that is in charge of reabsorbing and reactivating some estrogen to be reused by your system - when needed  👉 This ensures a perfect balance of your estrogen levels  BUT BUT BUT, this isn’t this easy of course! 👀  When you have a gut imbalance, a dysbiosis, this is where things gets complicated and you might end up with a list of symptoms  ❌ Either you will be making too much beta glucoronidase = estrogen dominance  ❌ Either you won’t be making enough beta glucoronidase = estrogen deficiency (more rare)  In the last slide I share with you how to nourrish your microbiome to ensure a proper balance and a healthy estrobolome:  🟢 Add more anti-inflammatory foods - see list in the post  🟥 Avoid pro-inflammatory foods - see list in the post  What is one thing you plan on doing to support your gut health today? 🤔 What is estrogen dominance or estrogen excess 🤔 What is estrogen dominance or estrogen excess?  Maybe you’ve been told you have estrogen excess but what is it exactly?  👉 It only means that you have too much estrogen in comparison to progesterone levels. Not more than that.  However, you can have “normal” estrogen levels and low progesterone levels = estrogen excess  ❌ It’s not only that you’re making too much estrogen. There are different scenarios we can observe in patients:  ✅ Normal estrogen, low progesterone  ✅ High estrogen, normal progesterone  ✅ High estrogen, low progesterone  ✅ Low estrogen, even lower progesterone (yes that’s a thing)  ✅ Exposure to endocrine disruptors impeding estrogen metabolism and detoxification pathways = symptoms of estrogen dominance  This dominance over progesterone levels can happen because:  1️⃣ You’re not making enough Progesterone in comparison to your Estrogen levels  2️⃣ You’re not metabolizing/eliminating Estrogen sufficiently well  This can lead to an array of symptoms (some are shown in this post)  Are you experiencing estrogen dominance?
