First, thoroughly rinse all the veggies under running water. Begin with the carrots. Cut out the leaves and peel them.
In a food processor, use the grater disc. Place the 4 carrots inside and grate them. If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a hand grater. Use one carrot at a time and keep it perpendicular to your grater. Transfer the grated carrot in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper and cumin.
Peel 1 orange. Then try to supreme it (getting rid of the membrane around each wedge). To do this easily, first cut out the peel on top and bottom of the fruit. Then, repeat on the sides of the fruits by following its curve. Take out the white peel too, as much as you can. Then cut each wedge between the white membranes and transfer the segments in a bowl. Cut them in 2 width-wise.
